CBA Male Player Pathway
Junior cricketers in metropolitan Melbourne are aligned to regions by municipal boundaries. North West Metro Region 10 municipalities are
- City of Moreland
- City of Moonee Valley
- City of Hume except Sunbury
- City of Melbourne suburbs Kensington, North Melbourne and Parkville
Players who have represented the region prior to 2007 and reside outside the municipal boundaries are allowed to exit the pathway in the region they started. Wizards trial squad nomination forms are distributed to each club within region 10 at the end of each season. The nominations are reviewed at a selection meeting in April with CBA Pathway Coaches, NWCA Representative Team Coaches and RM Hatch Shield Coaches. Notable performances in junior and senior cricket, NWCA representative cricket & RM Hatch Shield are cross referenced with performances in APS, AGS & ACC school cricket. Wizards Trial Squads are announced in May and trials are conducted in September School Holidays.
